Welcome to the Alberta Cancer Foundation Golf Classic

Golf Committee Co-Chair – Kham Lin, Tom Crist

Committee Members – John Bunting, Dallas Crist, Robbie Crist, Larry Knorr, Audra Rawlinson Ford, Pam Simpson, Rose Viscount

In 2016, the longstanding Don LaBerge Memorial Golf Classic joined forces with the Golf for the Cure in memory of Janice E. Crist. The tournament was a huge success and raised $50,000 for the Patient Financial Assistance Program to make life better for Albertans facing cancer. Together these tournaments joined forces with the Alberta Cancer Foundation to kick off the 1st Annual Alberta Cancer Foundation Golf Classic in 2017. With the help of our supporters and generous donors, over $1,000,000 net has been raised for patients facing cancer across the province.

The Alberta Cancer Foundation Golf Classic supports the Patient Financial Assistance Program, a program that gives financial support to patients and families facing cancer, so that they can focus on what matters most – healing.

Bellerose Composite High School Bike-a-Thon @ Bellerose Composite High School
Jun 17 all-day

Bellerose Composite High School is partnering with the Alberta Cancer Foundation to host their 18th Annual Bike-a-Thon fundraiser on June 17, 2021. All funds raised will make a difference in the lives of Albertans facing cancer, bringing earlier detection, improved treatments, enhanced quality of life and prevention strategies to patients.

Thanks to the support of generous Albertans like you, the Cross Cancer Institute has not only been able to deliver specialized care to those facing cancer, but continually pushes the pace of discovery with cutting-edge technologies and research that delivers results to Alberta’s cancer patients faster. For many patients and their families, the Cross Cancer Institute will forever hold a special place in their hearts for the compassionate care they received during their cancer journey.

For the past 17 years, Bellerose students and staff, families, friends, and community members have come together to support the Albertans who will hear the words “you have cancer” every day. With your help, they’ve raised over $2.93 million since 2004.

This year, the students and staff hope to continue creating more moments for Albertans facing cancer. Please consider making a donation. Your support brings the best in prevention, screening, research and care to Alberta’s cancer patients. Together, we are making a difference.
