Progress Report Spring 2016 Head and Neck  Progress Report Spring 2016 PFAP

At the Alberta Cancer Foundation, we strive to provide Albertans with access to the best cancer treatment and care.

This Progress Report takes a closer look at four investments that have a direct impact on patient outcomes and enhance the lives of patients and their families.

Thanks to you, a clinical trial in prostate cancer has reached a significant milestone. Advancements like this will help get the most innovative treatments to patients, faster.

Lymphoma research is making great strides right here in Alberta, and your investment is making a major impact in this field.

You’ll read about how one patient who received support from the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s Patient Financial Assistance Program was able to return to her life. Your support made this happen.

Finally, treatment for head and neck cancer is extensive, and the recovery process can be challenging. A research team out of the Institute for Reconstructive Sciences in Medicine is working hard to restore patients’ quality of life. This wouldn’t be possible without you.

All of these investments have played a part in making life better for Albertans facing cancer. Thank you for helping us make investments that matter.
